Celeteque Dermoscience, better known as Celeteque, is a famous brand here in the Philippines. It’s not a Korean brand, but I thought I had to make a special review for this local brand as it has been very kind to my skin.

Celeteque is known to be really affordable and it’s known to work. Their website claims that their brand has “no empty promises, just effective results” and is based on science and the expertise of dermatologists.

I have tried two products from them which are the:

  1. Celeteque Sun Care Matte Moisturizer
  2. Celeteque  Hydration Moisturizer

So, first up is the Celeteque Sun Care Matte Moisturizer with SPF 30 and  Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB Protection.

What it does

Provides double sunscreen protection against UVA/UVB rays. Hydrates the skin. Has an oil-free and matte finish

– SPF 30

– Broad Spectrum UVA/ UVB Protection

– Hypoallergenic

-Dermatologist tested

Php 230.00 – SPF 30 ($4.73) for 50ml

Php 150.00 SPF 15 ($3.09) for 50ml

The cream is quite on the thick side but not too much that it feels like it’s clogging your pores and it’s not runny. It takes quite a bit of effort to spread onto your face though.

This is can be either a hit or miss depending on your preference. The texture, feel and the scent is just like a body sunscreen that leaves a slight white cast on your face so if you dislike that then this isn’t for you. I don’t really mind the white cast that much and this has been my go-to sunscreen so far. My face is very sensitive with sunscreen, if it won’t suit my skin then I’d have a pimple right away.

I haven’t tried a lot of sunscreens but that’s because I’ve tried buying pricey sunscreens only for my skin to hate it. So far, Celeteque Suncare is my ‘safe’ choice. It has a high enough SPF(minimum SPF should be 25), it has both UVA and UVB protection and it also acts as a matte moisturizer too so it’s a two-in-one for me.

-Good amount of SPF

-Good benefits

-Does not break me out

-Perfect for oily skin types

-Leaves a white cast

-Not recommended for dry skin types as it can feel drying(because of it being a matte moisturizer)

Repurchasing until I find a better alternative. Do you have any good suggestions for a good sunscreen?

Next up is the Celeteque  Hydration Moisturizer

What it does

With Triple Moisturizing System that contains Glycerin, Pro-Vitamin B5, and Aloe Vera that work deep down to provide lasting relief from skin dryness.

– Triple Moisturizing System for deep moisturization

– Hypoallergenic

-Dermatologist Tested

Php 250.00 ($5.14) for 100ml

Php 150.00 ($3.09) for 50ml

Unfortunately, I don’t have a photo of the texture since I already finished my bottle and am currently trying a new moitsturizer. But the texture is a clear, transparent, gel-type. It’s very light and once applied it quickly absorbs to the skin and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling. So, if you’re planning to layer it with make-up then it would be okay!

This is one of my favorite moisturizers because it basically does what it says. It’s a safe moisturizer for any skin types. It has been my moisturizer for months until I had to switch and. try a new moisturizer that targets in healing acne scars since this one focuses on making your skin hydrated.

I think this has to be one of the safest moisturizers out there since the ingredients are safe and it does not have any irritants. It never broke me out, and it even calmed my skin if it was irritated because of a new product I tried(probably because of the Aloe Vera which is known as a soothing ingredient ). It’s a very skin-friendly moisturizer and it absorbs well to the skin.

-Safe for any skin type

-Very affordable

-Does what it says

-Easily absorbs to skin

-Did not break me out

-A good and trusty moisturizer

-Does not have any active ingredients to battle specific skin problems like acne, hyperpigmentation, etc.
